Yes I just posted, however, wanted to mention that throughout the long history of Thoroughbred racing, there have been many horses that inspired people. Be it from their quirky running style--ala Silky Sullivan(USA) who would come from way way back behind the field, and have the whole grandstand cheering for him, even if he was the longest shot on the board. Another who has a quirky running style would be one of the stars of this years Kentucky Derby Trail---The Pamplemousse (USA) who has an odd action. Then there are horses who show grit and heart and refuse to lose. Da'Hoss(USA) is a good example in the Breeder's Cup Mile, as well as Affirmed(USA) during his Triple Crown sweep, and more recently Tiznow(USA, and Stardom Bound(USA), just to mention a couple of my favorites. For sheer brilliance, a horse can come and "win for fun" demolishing their opposition, or stay close to the pace, then get "first run" at the leaders coming off the turn. Zarkava(FR), the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe 2008 winner, an undefeated mare racing for the Aga Khan last year was one such, as well as Zenyatta(USA), also an undefeated mare, Breeder's Cup Ladies Classic winner in 2008.
Here are some video's to their races. If it doesn't work...let me know.
